IntraLearn Software Corporation, the leading supplier of configurable e-Learning software applications for midmarket enterprises and QuickCompliance, the leading provider of e-Learning solutions to help organizations comply with the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), announced an alliance that provides a comprehensive solution for organizations to rapidly and efficiently train their workforce on new HIPAA regulations.
Under the agreement, QuickCompliance will integrate and deliver customized HIPAA training content online on the IntraLearn LSP (Learning Service Provider) e-Learning platform. Under the HIPAA regulations, signed into law by Congress in 1996, all organizations that handle protected health information (PHI), from insurance companies to healthcare providers, must train their workforces on new privacy rules and organizational policies and procedures before April 14, 2003 or face substantial fines.
