NETg breidt activiteiten uit in Oost-Europa

London, February 11th, 2003 ; NETg today announced a new distribution agreement with System Integration to market its portfolio of IT and business and professional development products to local and global businesses in Ukraine. This move demonstrates NETg's confidence in Ukraine and the rest of Eastern Europe as one of the fastest emerging markets in the world economy, and will allow System Integration to work in collaboration with NETg to provide quality learning solutions to meet the growing demand for training in the region. NETg also announced the availability of Microsoft desktop courses in Russian; a language widely spoken in Ukraine; which will allow the company to break into the Russian market. The courseware will be localised into Russian by System Integration and will be made available throughout 2003.

"With a population of nearly 50 million and a growing presence of international companies, Ukraine is rapidly becoming an important world economy, commented Oleg Schevchenko, CEO, System Integration. To help the economy compete on a global scale and to help employees gain the skills required to develop and adapt to the new market environment, it is important for businesses and organisations in the country to have access to high quality training, which is why we chose to partner with NETg. The breadth and depth of NETg's offering and its strong commitment to developing quality localised learning content to help train employees in the vital IT and business skills required today, places it far ahead of its competitors".

Ukraine, along with the ten EU accession countries, is gradually emerging as a new market for e-Learning, owed in part to the growing number of global companies in the area which are driving the demand for an accessible, flexible learning solution. With an extensive range of integrated learning solutions available as e-Learning, e-Books, classroom materials, certification boot camps and mentoring services, NETg is well positioned to meet this demand. NETg has already seen widespread success in Poland where it has a network of resellers who resell NETg's solutions, including its range of e-Learning courses localised into Polish, which have helped to make NETg the number one provider of localised learning solutions in Poland.

Russian is widely spoken in Ukraine by both the Ukrainians and the large Russian population living there. The localisation of the NETg courses will be carried out by System Integration in Ukraine following thorough training from NETg in its products and processes. System Integration is supported by NETg throughout the localisation process. A final quality assurance is performed by NETg to ensure the content meets NETg's high localisation standards.

"Localising our courses into Russian opens up new and very exciting opportunities for NETg in Ukraine, Russia and the rest of Eastern Europe, and we will continue to localise products to meet local demand", commented JJ van Delsen, channel director Eastern Europe, NETg. "Our partnership with System Integration has allowed us to break into a very important market and promises to help organisations throughout Ukraine to adapt to and compete in the global economy".

System Integration is currently working with the largest non-state educational institution in Ukraine, Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM), to provide them with a blended learning solution using NETg's IT and business and professional development courses. IAPM is one of the first Ukrainian organisations to provide certified distance-learning classes in management, marketing, finance, and human resources, which are offered at its 50 branches located throughout the country and abroad. It currently leads the academic world in Ukraine with its blended learning solutions.

"Through working in partnership with System Integration, we can considerably enhance the quality and variety of courses we offer our students", commented Dr. Grinev Vladimir, director of the Academy's Institute of Information Technology. "And with NETg's excellent reputation, we know the courses will provide our students with high quality training in skills that are critical for today's marketplace".
