The IntraLearn Learning Management System has recently been chosen by two government authorities in open competitions as the platform for delivery of e-learning content to their citizens.

In Iceland, the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture is funding an education portal designed to serve the citizens of Iceland. In Belgium, the Flanders education authority is designing a "Learning Ecosystem" to provide learners with access to content produced in local universities using a standard set of content tools. BIS (Begeleid Individueel Studeren) is part of the Flemish Ministry of Education. BIS markets courses to adults learners for continuous education. Their courses are sold to the Flemish citizen.
