Project Assistant e-Learning The European Association of Urology is a scientific urological association with currently well over 16,000 members. Members are medical professionals working in the urological field or related medical specialties. As an organization, the EAU offers an extensive package of products and services relating to science, education and publications to their members. Almost all of the logistics related to these activities are concentrated in a Central Office, based in Arnhem, The Netherlands.

The EAU Central Office in Arnhem is looking for an enthusiastic and talented:

Project Assistant e-Learning (m/f)
24-32 hours a week

Your responsibilities

The Project Assistant e-learning is assisting the Project Manager with developing and implementing projects regarding education online, to instruct and educate urologists across Europe. Your main tasks in this role will be:

  • Support e-learning projects from conception (in cooperation with the Project Manager) to completion 
  • Contribute to the development of the IT solutions for EAU online education tools together with the Project Manager
  • Linking different EAU (online) projects in the field of e-learning
  • Communication with IT department regarding development of online tools for e-learning on the EAU websites and defining user interfaces
  • Organise meetings and activities related to EAU Education Online
  • Prepare regular measurement and evaluation of e-learning projects

Your profile

  • HBO (college diploma or university degree) level of education in Educational Science, Computer Science or similar and/or at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • A certification in e-learning 
  • 1-3 Years of experience in an e-learning environment 
  • In-dept, hands-on knowledge of e-learning technical standards, authoring technologies and e-learning platforms such as Lectora, Docebo, etc.
  • Strong project support skills
  • Affinity with medical science
  • Experience with organising and administration
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English, including instructional, facilitation and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office applications especially Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
  • Availability to travel when necessary
  • Living in or in the near vicinity of Arnhem.
